Position Summary


You will be responsible for the efficient running of the division in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest, and owner expectations. The Director of Food and Beverage will function as both a Business Manager and a Marketing Specialist for the Food and Beverage Department, ensuring all outlets and banquets operate successfully, maintain the hotel’s standards, and achieve individual profitability.


Responsibilities


  • Oversee the overall functioning and administration of all Food & Beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, in-room dining, and banquets.
  • Ensure all outlets operate in line with Hyatt brand standards and established operational procedures.
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability through strategic planning, cost control, and effective resource management.
  • Develop and implement marketing initiatives to enhance guest experience and increase outlet visibility.
  • Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
  • Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction by maintaining service quality and addressing feedback proactively.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Food & Beverage team to achieve operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support overall hotel operations and business objectives.

Qualifications


  • Ideally with a university degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role or as an Assistant Director of Food & Beverage in a reputed hotel.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and drive profitability.
  • Excellent communication and guest service orientation.
  • Strong understanding of food & beverage operations, trends, and market dynamics.
