You are a strategic thinker passionate about driving solutions in Finance. As a Financial Analysis Associate in our Global Real Estate Finance team, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our real estate portfolio. You will be part of a dynamic group of professionals responsible for overseeing financial analysis related to location strategy, capital projects, and expense forecasts. 


The Global Real Estate (GRE) Finance team sits within the Chief Administrative Office Finance team. It is comprised of finance professionals across the globe who are accountable for managing both the expense & capital components of the GRE function, ensuring a sound control environment, measuring performance, providing value-adding analyses, and presenting information and ideas to senior management within Global Real Estate, to the major lines of business, and to the various Firm-wide finance teams who roll up the results of the entire Corporation.


Our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) teams are responsible for a wide range of activities including financial modelling, controls, forecasting and budgeting, analysis of financial/business metrics and delivery of weekly/monthly/quarterly management reporting.


Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare financial forecasts and budgets for JPMorganChase’s EMEA real estate portfolio
  • Partner with Real Estate functions to ensure accuracy of financial forecasts and budgets
  • Analyze variances, trends, risks, and opportunities against budget and targets
  • Support ad-hoc financial analysis for key business areas
  • Own and understand all facets of the GRE P&L and balance sheet, including budget coordination
  • Contribute to transaction funding financial analysis by evaluating prospective real estate initiatives (ownership/leasing, capital investment, occupancy strategies)
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Demonstrate experience with financial modeling and forecasting
  • Apply advanced Excel skills, including data manipulation and analysis of large datasets, and present conclusions concisely
  • Communicate clearly in writing and verbally, including articulating complex issues and interacting with senior leaders
  • Manage multiple deliverables with critical deadlines while adapting to changing priorities
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Bring prior experience in real estate finance
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline with 2+ years of experience in financial services and/or accounting/controller roles
  • Use financial systems such as Essbase and SAP
