Job Summary
Iron Mountain is seeking a strategic, detail-oriented, and experienced Category Lead to join our Global Procurement team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing the global category strategy for Finance Professional Services, managing complex end-to-end sourcing projects, and navigating sophisticated contracting models to optimize cost and value delivery.
You will join a mature, global Global Procurement team, reporting directly to the Head of Finance and Legal Professional Services.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
Category Strategy Execution: Execute the global Finance Professional Services roadmap by identifying opportunities for demand management, panel rationalization, and best-in-class commercial structures, including fixed-fee and outcome-based models.
End-to-End Sourcing and Contracting: Lead complex Request for Proposal, Information, or Quotation (RFx) processes and contract negotiations, drafting Master Service Agreements and Engagement Letters with a focus on scope definition and Key Performance Indicators.
What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
8–14 years of experience in Procurement or Category Management within a mature global organization, with at least 4 years specifically focused on Finance Professional Services.
Strong knowledge of professional services fee mechanics, including rate card negotiations and alternative fee arrangements, as well as familiarity with Big 4 firm engagement models.
Proven ability in moving beyond tactical buying to long-term category value creation, spend transparency, and cost-reduction strategies within complex, matrixed organizations.
