Finance Modernization Director
Job Description:
The Director of the Finance Modernization Project will support the transformation of our finance operations, driving the implementation of advanced analytics, AI capabilities, and cloud migration strategies in support of the overall Finance function. This project role will be pivotal in driving Finance Data Design, Governance, Finance Product releases, and Process Improvement forward.
Role:
• Lead the Finance Modernization initiative for the Finance organization, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives
• Drive the development and execution of a comprehensive data governance framework, including Master Data Management, Data Cataloguing, Stewardship, and Enforcement
• Lead the cleanup and define ongoing governance of the Chart of Accounts
• Lead the delivery of Finance Products on the data lake platform for reporting and AI
• Perform planning and drive execution of process improvement opportunities for Finance as identified through our prioritized projects
• Lead change management, partner with change champions for process and data updates in the systems, verifications and checks to confirm outcomes
• Lead an ERP Cloud implementation, including strategy, planning, oversight, and change management
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the Finance team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and processes.
All About You:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in participating on large-scale finance transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of finance operations, data governance, and cloud technologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
• Experience with ERP/EPM systems and data lake frameworks is highly desirable.
Preferred Skills:
• Advanced knowledge of AI and analytics applications in finance.
• Experienced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to drive change and foster a culture of innovation.
• Experience in a global business environment.
• Currently at a Director or VP level
