Role Overview


The Finance & Accounts Manager will be responsible for end-to-end financial management, statutory compliance, group accounting, and international coordination for a global IT services organization with multiple overseas subsidiaries.


This role requires strong Indian statutory expertise combined with the ability to manage international finance, tax, and compliance frameworks through coordination with overseas advisors. The position is critical to ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, margin visibility, and scalable growth.


 Key Responsibilities


1. India Finance & Statutory Compliance (Core Responsibility)


  • Manage complete accounting and finance operations for Indian entities
  • Ensure compliance with:
    • Companies Act, 2013
    • Income Tax Act (including advance tax, TDS, assessments)
    • GST (domestic and export of services)
    • FEMA regulations for overseas subsidiaries and intercompany transactions
  • Handle statutory audit, tax audit, and coordination with auditors and consultants
  • Prepare financial statements, schedules, and management reports
  • Ensure timely MCA filings and regulatory submissions

2. Group Accounting & Consolidation


  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements
  • Handle multi-currency accounting and consolidation
  • Ensure:
    • Intercompany reconciliations and eliminations
    • Consistent revenue recognition policies
    • Alignment with Ind AS / IFRS (as applicable)
  • Maintain group chart of accounts and accounting policies

3. International Subsidiary Oversight


 Oversee finance and compliance for subsidiaries in:


    • USA
    • Singapore
    • UAE (Dubai)
    • South Africa
    • Australia
  • Coordinate with local accounting firms and tax advisors
  • Review and validate:
    • Monthly financials
    • Tax filings and statutory submissions
    • Compliance with local regulations (Corporate Tax, VAT/GST, payroll taxes)
  • Ensure consistency of numbers between local books and group consolidation

Note: Execution may be outsourced, but accountability rests with this role.


6. Management Reporting & Business Support


  • Prepare MIS, dashboards, and financial analysis for leadership
  • Track:
    • Entity-wise and service-line profitability
    • Delivery vs sales entity margins
    • Client and project profitability
  • Support leadership with:
    • Budgeting and forecasting
    • Pricing and contract structuring
    • New subsidiary setup and expansion decision

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience


Mandatory


  • Chartered Accountant (CA) / CPA / ACCA (CA preferred)
  • 8–15 years of experience in finance & accounts
  • Strong hands-on experience in:

 Indian statutory compliance


    • Direct & indirect taxation
    • Finalisation of accounts and audits

Preferred


  • Experience in IT / IT services / professional services companies
  • Exposure to multi-country accounting and consolidation
  • Working knowledge of transfer pricing concepts
  • Experience working with Big 4 or international accounting firms
  • Familiarity with ERP/accounting tools (Zoho, Tally, NetSuite, SAP, etc.)

  • Strong technical accounting and taxation knowledge
  • Ability to manage multiple geographies and advisors
  • High attention to detail with a strategic mindset
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership
  • Commercial orientation—not just compliance-focused
