The Field Sales Engineer will own and grow strategic broad‑market accounts in India, driving design‑in opportunities and revenue growth for ADI’s diversified portfolio. The role requires strong technical depth, customer engagement capability, and disciplined sales execution.


Preferred Location : Bangalore / Hyderabad


Key Responsibilities


  • Manage and expand business at assigned strategic broad market accounts, ensuring alignment with regional and global priorities.


  • Identify new application areas and drive early design‑in activities with OEMs, design houses, ODMs and emerging mid‑tier customers.


  • Provide technical guidance, solution positioning, and value articulation across analog, mixed‑signal, power, connectivity, sensing, and embedded product lines.


  • Collaborate tightly with FAEs, product lines, and global account teams to support customer programs and resolve technical/commercial escalations.


  • Drive & manage distributor FAE teams , assign revenue and DWIN goals to them and closely monitor them.


  • Build multi‑level customer relationships (engineering, procurement, leadership) to influence design roadmap decisions.


  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and opportunity management within CRM tools (Dynamics).


  • Track competitive activity and provide structured feedback to business units to improve solution competitiveness.


  • Support pricing strategy, commercial negotiations, and quarterly business reviews (QBRs).


Preferred Qualifications & Skills


  • B.E./B.Tech in Electronics Engineering or Computer Science Engineering from a reputed university.


  • 7 to 15 years of experience in business development/FAE/field sales in the semiconductor domain in India.


  • Strong understanding of customer design cycles, system architecture , and broad‑market application domains.


  • Demonstrated experience managing strategic or high‑value accounts.


  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and executive‑level presentation skills.


  • Exposure to multiple market segments (industrial, consumer, energy, healthcare, automotive, Defense, Comm etc.).


  • Proficiency with CRM and structured sales processes.
