Eaton announced, on January 26, 2026, the intent to separate its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) into an independent, publicly traded company. We expect to complete the separation by the end of the first quarter of 2027. As a standalone company, the Mobility business will be more focused and agile, creating exciting opportunities for employees to grow, innovate, and help shape the future of mobility. The separation reflects strong confidence in the Mobility team and positions the new company as an employer of choice in the automotive and commercial vehicle industry. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the spinoff closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.




The incumbent will be responsible to lead the engineering function of Legacy Power conversion product line of Low Voltage & Power Conversion (LVPC) group within eMobility business, directing the global team of 10+ strong multidisciplinary engineers. Team will be responsible for executing new product and technology development programs as well as working on current product engineering projects for global product lines such as LV DC-DC, Battery Equalizers & Auxiliary Inverter. Position will be functionally aligning to Power Conversion Business Unit and responsible to collaborate with other business functions such as Strategy, Sales & Marketing, Operations, Program Management, Supply Chain and Finance to develop business strategic priorities, execute programs & initiatives to achieve business growth & profitability goals. Position will be responsible to drive Customer Intimacy, Frugal Innovation and Speed of Execution. Role will be part of global Power Conversion engineering team and will assist to lead engg. functional excellence & standard practices for the business. Expectation from the role would be to develop and execute talent strategies for hiring, development, and retention in line with business strategic priorities.



"Our eMobility Low Voltage & Power Conversion business is looking for a Engineering Manager, who will lead engineering function of Legacy Power Conversion product line. This position is based at our office in Magarpatta City, Pune, India. The role will provide engineering leadership and guidance on the Legacy Power Conversion business strategies and future road maps while collaborating with Power Conversion business unit & LVPC engineering. 
• Responsible to work with Power Conversion business leadership to define long term strategic objectives and establish / drive action plans to achieve the same
• Proven track record in engineering / R&D domain, demonstrated accountability & ownership in growing the portfolio, demonstrated tenacity and flexibility to reliably achieve goals
• Collaborate with business unit leaders to identify market opportunities, design and launch new products with speed & innovation while catering to the needs of Low Voltage Power Conversion market & customers in all regions
• Attract, develop and retain organizational and technical leadership talents, 
Coach and motivate subordinates to achieve their professional goals and review their accomplishments
• Drive & champion the culture of Digital Design, Design for Six Sigma and Stage Gate Product Development Process
• Annual global resources and budget planning, optimization & governance including people / software / hardware / lab infrastructure for Power Conversion business
• Champion continuous capability and process improvements to support the Eaton Business System"



Qualifications:

Graduate degree in Electrical / Electronics engineering with proven track record in providing leadership in multi-disciplinary areas of Vehicle market.

• Experience working in North America or Europe for 1 or 2 years preferred "
