About the opportunity:

Business Unit: Energy & Power 

The primary responsibilities of an Engineer - Electrical Infrastructure would be:

• Development of Key Line diagram, Protection SLD
• Preparation of Load list 
• Electrical equipment sizing calculations (Transformer, DG, Switchgear, UPS, Battery)
• VVVF Drive selection and scheme development
• Cable sizing calculations, cable schedule & control cable schedule preparation, Routing drawings development
• Substation layout preparation, Lighting calculations & Lighting layout preparation
• Electrical equipment datasheet preparation (Transformer, Motor, HV/LV Switchgear, DG, VVVF drive)
• Preparation of Equipment specifications (Transformer, HV/LV Switchgear, DG)
• LV Switchgear schematic drawings preparation
• Power system studies (Load flow, Short-circuit, Motor starting, Protection coordination, Arc flash studies, Harmonic studies)

Here's what you'll need

Qualifications:

• Software Tools - ETAP, SKM Power tool, Dialux, AutoCAD
• Vendor data collection, Vendor drawings review
• Inter-discipline coordination
• Working experience on Australia projects is desirable
• Capable of working under challenging workload subject to change at short notice.
• Good communication
• Good knowledge on IEC standards, AS/NZS standards
• Clear knowledge of work procedures, and ability to work independently.
• Able to communicate confidently with client or Foreign counterpart.
• Attending meetings with project leads/Engineers.
• Work with client and project managers to understand client requirements for key projects.

• BE/B Tech/ME/M Tech Electrical

Minimum 5-12 years of experience
