Design Verification Engineer
About the Role
As a Design Verification Engineer at Analog Devices, you will develop test benches and perform design verification of new digital, analog, and mixed-signal products prior to tape-out. You'll create advanced environments that support comprehensive, metric-driven verification processes and ensure the accuracy and reliability of designs through code coverage analysis. Working with moderate supervision, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and quality standards, applying your technical expertise to solve verification challenges.
Key Responsibilities


  • Providing support for EDA tools, design flows, and engineering infrastructure
  • Troubleshooting tool performance issues, simulation failures, and flow errors
  • Manage tool environments, users, projects, and configurations
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts (Python/Perl/Shell/TCL)
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base
  • Support regression flows, coverage, debug, and verification infrastructure
  • Collaborate with design, DV, and IT teams to improve flow efficiency and scalability

Required Qualifications and Experience:


  • M.Tech or B.Tech in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electronics Engineering or equivalent or related field preferred
  • Strong understanding of VLSI design/verification flows
  • Solid Linux and scripting skills
  • Experience with EDA tools (simulation, debug, flow orchestration)
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git/Perforce)
  • Good debugging and problem-solving ability

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:


  • Good Understanding of DV methodologies and tools would be a plus.
  • Good Understanding of Physical design and verification would be a plus.
