This role is responsible for supporting product design improvements, engineering changes, and cost reduction initiatives for specialty trailers, transportation equipment, and custom vehicle systems. The Design Engineer will contribute to new product development activities including 3D modeling, detailing, and design validation while supporting manufacturing and cross-functional teams. The role involves developing engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation to deliver reliable, high-quality, and manufacturable solutions aligned with customer and industry requirements.

§ Support product development activities through concept modeling, detailing, and design validation.

§ Create and modify 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings in SolidWorks based on customer requirements and engineering inputs.

§ Prepare detailed fabrication drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation for specialty vehicle and transportation products.

§ Execute engineering changes and design updates while maintaining drawing standards and revision control.

§ Work closely with manufacturing and fabrication teams to ensure designs are practical, manufacturable, and aligned with production requirements.

§ Collaborate cross-functionally with Project Management, Quality, Regulatory, and Testing teams to deliver design tasks on schedule and per standards.
