Technical Skills
As the successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and competencies:
Essential skills
Strong experience of Thermal simulation.
Understanding of aero-thermal environments and systems affecting the temperature of aircraft components.
Profound Thermodynamics, Fluid Dynamics, Heat Transfer, Aerodynamics, and Cooling Systems understanding.
Strong Hands-on Experience in numerical modelling, 1D analysis (Amesim) and CFD (Star CCM+, FLUENT) methods and tools.
Experience in coding of numerical methods to solve heat transfer and fluid flow problems.
Ability to learn new tools and processes to ensure the project deliveries.
Ability to build the understanding of thermal management systems of various aircrafts to build Amesim models is essential.
Ability to work in collaboration with a team to ensure the quality of the deliverable is must, as the project deliveries may directly contribute towards the certification of the aircraft.
Desired skills
Knowledge of Python and JAVA would also be beneficial.
Broad understanding/knowledge of System Design processes.
Ability to establish strong working relationships with other areas of the organisation.
