Embedded Software Engineer - Bluetooth

As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs that launch cutting-edge, world class products that meet and exceed customer needs. Qualcomm Software Engineers collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions and obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces.

Minimum Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field

  
  
  

• Professional experience (1-3 years)

  
  
  

Professional Experience

• 1+ years of experience in Bluetooth and embedded systems development

  
  
  

Technical Skills

• Programming Languages: Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems

  
  
  

• Bluetooth Expertise: Deep knowledge of Bluetooth low energy, classic Bluetooth, Bluetooth connections, advertisements etc.

  
  
  

• Embedded Systems: Experience with microcontrollers (ARM Cortex-M, etc.) and RTOS

  
  
  

• Debugging Tools: Experience debugging embedded systems using hardware/software tools, working knowledge of oscilloscopes, logic analysers, and Bluetooth packet sniffers.

  
  
  

• Experience on Bluetooth Mesh, Periodic advertisement will be a plus.

  
  
  

• Development Platforms: Experience with popular Bluetooth SoCs (Nordic, TI, Qualcomm, etc.)
