Job description

The Role involves engineering and analysis of the power system utilizing industry recognized software and standards. Preparation of technical reports for the power system study analysis (viz load flow, short circuit analysis, motor acceleration, harmonic analysis, insulation coordination, and relay settings calculation). Preparation of the simulation model in the computer Aided software. Proven ability to prepare technical report for the load flow, short circuit, and protection coordination. Provide support in finalizing the switchgear ratings, for MV and LV switchgear, selection of Transformer parameters.


Following Technical Skills required-


  • Experience in performing the power system studies (load flow, short circuit analysis, motor starting, relay settings calculation, transient stability, insulation coordination, and harmonic analysis, etc).
  • Knowledge of Electrical Machines and switchgear.
  • Knowledge of Power Transmission and Distribution system.
  • Specific experience of power system tool like ETAP or PSCAD or PSSE.
  • Coordinate with other stakeholders for proper exchange of information, technical data.
  • Knowledge of Key Single Line Diagram
  • Discussions with Clients and Consultants for technical report approvals. 
  • Exposure to IEC / IEEE Standards/other international standards.
