We are seeking a highly experienced Lead - Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) professional to take charge of the execution and implementation of E&I activities for offshore oil and gas EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects. This role is crucial for ensuring that all E&I systems are installed, tested, and commissioned effectively, on time, and within budget. The role requires deep expertise in European codes, IEC standards (mandatory), and CE marking compliance, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient integration of electrical and instrumentation systems across offshore substations, turbines, and auxiliary facilities.
Scope Of Work
- Lead offshore execution of Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) works for HVDC offshore substations.
- Lead design, specification, and integration of electrical and instrumentation systems for offshore wind projects.
- Ensure compliance with Employer’s Requirements, IEC, DNV, IECEx, and EU offshore wind standards.
- Coordinate with construction teams and subcontractors for integrated project execution.
- Provide technical support during fabrication, installation, commissioning, and operations.
- Plan and control E&I schedules, manpower, and project resources.
- Drive innovation in EIT design, digitalization, and automation to improve reliability and sustainability.
- Lead pre-commissioning, commissioning, and energisation readiness activities.
- Execute system integration testing for HVDC, AC systems, and SCADA interfaces.
- Resolve technical issues during installation and commissioning phases.
- Oversee supplier selection, procurement, and technical evaluation of E&I equipment.
- Implement Project Quality Control Plans (QCPs) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
- Conduct inspections and audits; manage NCRs and punch lists.
- Ensure preparation of as-built drawings, test records, and handover dossiers.
- Support Mechanical Completion, Ready-for-Energisation, and Final Handover milestones.
- Lead and mentor offshore E&I engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
- Promote a safety-first culture during offshore execution activities.
- Provide regular progress, technical, and risk reports to project stakeholders.
