Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your environmental, health, and safety expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside a collaborative and proactive team of professionals.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our people and contractors, minimizing environmental impacts, and protecting Alstom’s assets from risks. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (e.g., Human Resources, Manufacturing, Platform, and Finances), interact with local authorities and external auditors, and support the Site EHS Manager in implementing safety measures and compliance initiatives.
You’ll specifically take care of developing and maintaining the Site EHS Management System, but also supporting the creation of emergency plans and EHS training programs.
We’ll look to you for:
Supporting the Site EHS Manager on all EHS topics and objectives
Performing EHS risk assessments and defining measures to control risks
Preparing and maintaining emergency plans
Providing advice to site personnel to prevent injuries, environmental pollution, and damage to assets
Recognizing best practices and addressing violations of regulations and standards
Developing and deploying local EHS procedures aligned with Alstom and international standards
Ensuring compliance with EHS legal requirements and conducting compliance checks
Capturing, reporting, investigating, and analyzing incidents to implement corrective actions
Participating in inspections, audits, and EHS training programs

University degree in Engineering or Business
Health & Safety qualification recognized by local authorities
Experience of 6–7 years in EHS, with at least 1 year in manufacturing or regional centers
Knowledge of ISO14001 and ISO45001 standards
Deep understanding of local EHS legal requirements
Teamwork and leadership skills
Initiative, action-oriented mindset, and strong analytical thinking
Good communication and computer skills
Familiarity with continuous improvement tools
Environmental qualification (desirable)
Experience in the railway industry (a plus)
EHS auditing experience (a plus)
