To lead and manage all Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) functions at the construction site, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, client requirements, and company safety policies. The role focuses on preventing accidents, minimizing environmental impact, and promoting a strong safety culture across all construction activities.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop, implement, and monitor the Project EHS Management Plan.


  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements under relevant laws (Factory Act, BOCW Act, Environmental norms, etc.).


  • Conduct risk assessments (HIRA/JSA) for activities.


  • Approve Method Statements and ensure safety provisions are incorporated.


  • Conduct daily site safety inspections and audits.


  • Monitor high-risk activities like heavy lifting, launching gantry operation, traffic diversion works, and night works.


    • Ensure zero fatality and minimum Lost Time Injury (LTI) targets.


    • Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.


    • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective & preventive actions.


    • Maintain accident statistics and prepare monthly safety reports.
