We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Editor - Science to join our dynamic team in Darya Ganj, Delhi. This role is critical in shaping high-quality, accurate, and engaging scientific content that informs and inspires our audience.
Key Responsibilities:
â Edit and proofread Science content (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, EVS) for children’s books (K–8).
â Ensure content accuracy, age-appropriate language, and conceptual clarity.
â Align manuscripts with latest NCERT/CBSE curriculum and guidelines.
â Verify scientific facts, diagrams, tables, activities, and illustrations.
â Simplify complex scientific concepts for young learners.
â Coordinate with authors, illustrators, designers, and internal editorial teams.
â Review page proofs/PDFs and provide clear, detailed correction instructions.
â Ensure high editorial quality while meeting production timelines.
Requirementsâ Bachelor’s degree required; graduate/postgraduate in Science preferred.
â 3–5 years of experience as a Science Editor in an educational publishing house, especially
children’s books.
Skills Required:
â Strong proofreading, copy-editing, and content development skills
â Excellent subject knowledge of School-level Science (K–8)
â High attention to detail and accuracy
â Good communication and coordination skills
â Ability to manage multiple titles and meet deadlines
