Eram Talent, a division of the ERAM Group, is in search of an experienced Drilling Rig Foreman to join our dynamic team.
Candidate primary role will be to supervise field operations of land Drilling and Workover rigs, engaged in carrying programmed work on deep or otherwise critical wells.
Supervises and oversees the operations of a contract rig performing drilling or remedial work on wells ranging from 18,000 - 23,000 feet.
Responsibilities Ensure all rig personnel and service providers are complaining with the clients safety standards and requirement.
Supervises and oversees all operations performed on wells.
Makes recommendations on alternative methods or equipment when unusual situations are encountered.
Coordinates deliveries of materials to the well to ensure it is available when required.
Ensures that contractor meets all requirements of his contract.
Works with Drilling and Workover engineers to see that modern drilling practices are followed.
Approves contractor daily tour report.
Ensures that contractor rig and equipment are properly maintained to avoid downtime.
Performs other miscellaneous duties as directed by Supt.
Ensures that Blowout Prevention Standards are met in all respects including equipment configuration, testing and crew response.
Assures that rig and personnel comply with the clients established safety standards and procedures.
Thirteen (13) years relevant experience in drilling and workover operations including supervisory experience generally acquired by progression on a drilling or workover rig -OR- B) B.
S. degree in Engineering with Seven (7) years of experience working in drilling and workover operations including adequate supervisory experience on a drilling or workover rig.
Strong leadership and communication skills; Ability to work in challenging conditions and remote locations; Proven problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
