About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer – Electrical to support the design, development, and execution of electrical engineering projects. This role involves preparing technical designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver efficient, reliable, and high-quality electrical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Design & Engineering
Prepare detailed electrical designs, layouts, and technical specifications.
Develop power distribution systems, lighting layouts, cable schedules, and single-line diagrams.
Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and system analysis.
Ensure designs comply with applicable electrical codes, standards, and project requirements.

Project Planning & Coordination
Coordinate with project managers, civil, mechanical, and other engineering teams.
Support project planning, scheduling, and technical execution activities.
Review project specifications and provide engineering recommendations.
Assist in resolving design-related issues during project implementation.

Technical Documentation & Reporting
Prepare BOQs, technical reports, design calculations, and engineering documentation.
Maintain accurate records of drawings, revisions, and project updates.
Review technical submittals, vendor drawings, and material specifications.
Ensure proper documentation and version control processes are maintained.

Software & Design Tools
Utilize engineering software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, Dialux, EPLAN, or similar tools.
Prepare and review 2D and 3D electrical drawings and schematics.
Support BIM coordination and digital engineering processes when required.

Quality & Compliance
Ensure adherence to electrical standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
Conduct design reviews and quality checks for accuracy and efficiency.
Support implementation of safety, sustainability, and energy-efficient solutions.
Coordinate with site teams to ensure proper execution of electrical designs.

Stakeholder Coordination
Collaborate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments.
Participate in technical meetings and project discussions.
Provide technical support during client interactions and project reviews.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
3–7 years of experience in electrical design engineering within construction, infrastructure, industrial, or energy projects.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and engineering standards.
Experience with electrical design software and project coordination.
