About Us -

The Carbon Markets Association of India is a coalition formed with the best of carbon market practitioners of the country, with an aim to contribute to India’s journey to net-zero through climate positive advocacy and initiatives. The association has brought together the country’s carbon market industry to formulate collectively recommendations across a wide range of topics including National ETS, Article 6.2, Article 6.4, CBAM, and Carbon Neutrality, net-zero goals and Voluntary Carbon Markets amongst others. With a deep focus on capacity building for the country’s carbon market, the association is committed to ensure the development of strong policy guidelines and frameworks in India.

Location: New Delhi

Job responsibilities: ∙

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong ability to produce clear, concise content
  • Ability to write in a variety of styles and tones to appeal to different audiences
  • Experience writing for a variety of digital platforms, including blogs, social media, and email newsletters
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Individual with a talent for creative and out of the box thinking.
  • Database management: Compiling and maintaining the database of participants
  • Social media: Management and execution of social media posts and platforms as per the program requirements
Desired Qualifications and Experience: ∙

  • Bachelor's/ Master’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, English (hons) or a related field/ Communications related fields ∙ 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Must be adept at all Microsoft Office and Google tools related to project planning, management and social media accounts
  • Knowledge on Public affairs/government relations, energy policy and carbon markets Added Advantage
  • If has a work experience in environment/ climate change
