Purpose
Facilitates and coordinates Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to ensure that multiple teams within a program are aligned and delivering value efficiently. To manage dependencies, remove impediments, and oversee the planning and execution of Program Increments. Foster collaboration across teams, ensures alignment with business objectives, and drives continuous improvement in large-scale Agile environments.

Join us as a DDA Release Train Engineer at Barclays where you will spearhead the evolution of our infrastructure and deployment pipelines, driving innovation and operational excellence. You will harness cutting-edge technology to build and manage robust, scalable and secure infrastructure, ensuring seamless delivery of our digital solutions.
To be successful as aDDA Release Train Engineer, you should have experience with:
Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, especially SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
Experience managing large-scale software development projects and coordinating multiple teams.
Strong facilitation and communication skills to lead PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, and other key ceremonies.
Ability to identify and resolve impediments, risks, and dependencies across teams.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) and reporting progress to leadership.
Capacity to drive continuous improvement, encourage innovation, and promote a culture of accountability.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Technical background in software engineering or IT infrastructure.
Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Ability to mentor and train teams on Agile best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
