About The Role:


The Solution Architect owns the end to end technical and architectural design of complex enterprise solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, enterprise architecture standards, and platform capabilities. This role bridges business strategy and technology execution by defining scalable, secure, and cost-effective solution architectures, providing architectural governance, and guiding delivery teams through design and implementation.

Required Skills


  • Architecture & Engineering
    12-16 years of experience in solution architecture, system design, and enterprise scale delivery.


  • Strong expertise in Azure Databricks, Apache Spark (PySpark), Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and scaled distributed data processing.


  • Proficiency with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and modern data orchestration tools.
    Hands-on experience building end-to-end data pipelines using Python and PySpark.


  • Deep understanding of technical architecture patterns, microservices, APIs, kafka, and integration frameworks.


  • Solid experience with DevOps and CI/CD tooling (Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Terraform or similar)


  • Work closely with multiple architects to align on the right architecture design.


  • Drive adoption of enterprise architecture design standards.


  • Propose alternative solutions when standard approaches don’t fit, while staying aligned to enterprise principles



Data & Platform Architecture


  • Experience designing largescale data platforms and Lakehouse-style architectures.


  • Knowledge of data governance, security, metadata management, and lineage. 


  • Strong understanding of data governance, security, compliance, and cloud cost optimization.



DevOps & Non-Functional Requirements


  • Experience driving DevOps, CI/CD, and automated deployment practices at the architectural level.


  • Strong focus on performance, scalability, reliability, and cost optimization. 



Leadership & Communication


  • Proven ability to influence architectural decisions across teams and stakeholders.


  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex designs clearly.


  • Excellent analytical, communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.


Nice to Have


  • Experience in Oil & Gas, subsurface, facilities, or industrial data platforms. 


  • Familiarity with OSDU aligned architectures and industry data standards. 


  • Relevant cloud or architecture certifications.


  • Experience working with OSDU (Open Subsurface Data Universe) data models or similar energy industry data standards.
