Key responsibilities

Reliability & observability

• Implement and maintain ingestion monitoring and alerting
• Define SLIs/SLOs for ingestion pipelines
• Track and reduce MTTR and incident recurrence
• Ensure logs, metrics, and alerts are actionable

Automation & CI/CD

• Automate deployment and configuration of ingestion pipelines
• Improve idempotency, retry, and replay mechanisms
• Support CI/CD integration for ingestion assets
• Reduce manual operational effort

Incident & problem management

• Lead root‑cause analysis for major ingestion incidents
• Drive permanent corrective actions
• Maintain and improve runbooks
• Support release and change management

Required skills & experience

• DataOps, SRE, or platform operations
• Strong understanding of distributed data systems
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and automation
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices
• Ability to work calmly under operational pressure

• Reduced repeat incidents
• Increased automation coverage
• Improved ingestion reliability metrics
