Data Modeler Location: Bangalore, India Workplace Type: Hybrid About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Modeler to join our dynamic team in Bangalore.
As a Senior Data Modeler, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data models that support our network inventory management systems.
You will leverage your expertise in TMF standards, graph databases, and AI/ML to create innovative solutions that drive business value.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, API design, ETL pipelines, and migration from relational to graph databases.
You should also be proficient in Python, SQL, and various ML libraries.
This role requires an individual with excellent problem-solving skills, a passion for data, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
The notice period for this position is immediate to 30 days.
Key Responsibilities Design and develop data models for network inventory management systems, adhering to TMF standards (TMF-633, 634, 638 & 639).
Create API designs to expose inventory data models for consumption by various applications.
Develop and maintain ETL pipelines for data integration and transformation.
Perform data profiling to understand data quality and identify areas for improvement.
Lead the migration of data from relational databases to graph databases (Neo4j, Amazon Neptune).
Design and optimize graph database schemas using Neo4j, Amazon Neptune, JanusGraph, InfiniteGraph, and NebulaGraph.
Develop and optimize graph queries using Cypher and GraphQL.
Design relational database schemas and utilize SQL and ER modeling tools.
Implement ML pipelines for graph analytics and predictive modeling.
Utilize ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn for model development.
Create ML data pipelines and deploy models in a CI/CD environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data modeling solutions.
Ensure data quality and consistency across all data models.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data modeling and AI/ML.
Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
8+ to 18 years of experience in data modeling and architecture.
Strong expertise in network inventory management data models, resource & services.
Proficiency in TMF standards (TMF-633, 634, 638 & 639).
Experience in API design for exposing inventory data models.
Solid understanding of ETL pipelines and data profiling techniques.
Extensive experience in migrating from relational to graph databases (Neo4j, Amazon Neptune).
Expertise in graph database data modeling using Neo4j, Amazon Neptune, JanusGraph, InfiniteGraph, and NebulaGraph.
Proficiency in writing and optimizing graph queries using Cypher and GraphQL.
Strong knowledge of relational schema design, SQL, and ER modeling tools.
Experience with AI/ML pipelines and graph analytics.
Proficiency in Python and SQL.
Familiarity with ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
Experience in creating ML data pipelines and deploying models in a CI/CD environment.
