Data Analyst - Work From Home

Introduction:

The company develops software and maintains a Data Mining and Reporting tool which is utilized by clients globally. The tool collects building management, sensor, alarms and faults data from a wide range of originating sources and provides trends and related data statistics to the Clients. Company provides Data Cleansing and Analytics Services to fully know specific data portfolio and provide value added analysis and reporting toward operations efficiency and cost savings.

Responsibilities:

• Support in building up the Data Mining and Data Warehousing services.
• Support with data mining and related reporting requirements.
• Identify unusual patterns which may illustrate cost savings or operational efficiencies for the Client (Building Owner).
• Recommend additional measurement opportunities which could bring value added information for the client.
• Map and trace data from multiple systems to solve specific business problems.
• Request or write SQL queries to extract data from the data warehouse and to identify the answers to complex business issues.
• Provide guidance for design and maintaining data systems and databases.
• Recommend additional reporting which will illustrate the valuable trends and patterns in the clients business.
• Identify, evaluate and implement external services and tools to support data validation and cleansing.
• Monitor and audit data quality.
• Gather, understand and document detailed business requirements

Qualifications:

• Excellent communications and presentation skills
• Strong command of English
• University degree in IT or related is preferable
• Business oriented with 1-2 years Data Analysis
• Familiarity with PHP and other programming languages and databases
• Ability to analyze, model and interpret data with accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to plan work and meet deadlines
• Some SQL query building capabilities.
• Knowledge & experience in data modelling, data cleansing, and data enrichment techniques
• Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages like Excel to be used for data set analyzing
