Job Profile Summary
The PS&Q Data Analyst develops, validates, and maintains high-quality analytics, reporting solutions, and reusable data assets that support Product Safety & Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, and Operational functions. Working within a regulated medical device environment, the role applies advanced analytical and technical skills to create transparent, traceable, and reproducible data products while ensuring compliance with applicable healthcare regulations and data governance standards.
The role combines expertise in data analytics, Azure data technologies, and documentation practices to produce validated tables, figures, listings, dashboards, and analytical outputs that are suitable for regulatory, quality, operational, and audit purposes.
Job Responsibilities
Handles analysis of complex datasets using advanced statistical methods and machine learning techniques to uncover deep insights that inform strategic business decisions and operational efficiencies.
Develops and maintains high-quality analytics products including validated datasets, tables, figures, listings, dashboards, reports, and statistical outputs that support quality, regulatory, clinical, and operational decision making.
Produces clear technical documentation describing data sources, transformation logic, assumptions, validation activities, calculations, and reporting methodologies to ensure analytical outputs are transparent, reproducible, and audit ready.
Designs, develops and works with scalable data transformations, semantic models, and data pipelines using Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric/Synapse, SQL and Python to deliver trusted analytical datasets.
Performs data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities to ensure analytical outputs are accurate, complete, reproducible, and suitable for regulatory and business use.
Applies data governance principles and complies with applicable regulations and standards including GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GDPR, and internal quality system requirements when developing analytical solutions.
Works collaboratively with Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, IT, Data Engineering, and business stakeholders to translate analytical requirements into well-documented, validated reporting and data solutions.
Minimum required Education:
Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Information Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics or equivalent.
Minimum required Experience:
Minimum 8-10 years of experience with Bachelor's in areas such as Data Analytics, Data Modeling or equivalent
