Job Description:
As a Data Analyst at UPS, you will play a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making across Marketing and Sales functions. You will be responsible for performance tracking, revenue attribution, and marketing automation analytics to support growth, customer acquisition, and lifecycle optimization initiatives.
This role requires strong analytical capability, technical proficiency, and the ability to translate complex datasets into actionable insights that influence strategic marketing and revenue decisions.
Consolidate and analyze data from websites, digital campaigns, CRM systems, and sales pipelines.
Map and normalize datasets to create unified customer and account journeys.
Build structured analytical views to evaluate campaign and marketing channel performance.
Ensure consistency, accuracy, and reliability of cross-platform data.
Develop attribution models linking pipeline and revenue to marketing activities.
Support multi-touch attribution frameworks across paid, organic, and lifecycle channels.
Design dashboards to visualize lead flow, conversions, CAC, and ROI.
Provide insights to optimize marketing spend and channel performance.
Build scripts and workflows for ETL, reporting, and visualization.
Maintain automated data pipelines for near real-time analytics.
Develop scalable dashboards aligned with Marketing and Sales KPIs.
Reduce manual reporting processes through automation.
Translate data into performance narratives and executive-ready insights.
Identify trends, drop-offs, and gaps across the marketing funnel.
Recommend improvements in targeting, messaging, and resource allocation.
Support data-backed growth and lifecycle strategy decisions.
Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to align KPIs.
Enforce best practices in data quality, campaign tagging, and tracking.
Document processes and support marketing data governance standards.
Ensure metric consistency across reporting platforms.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
3+ years of experience in marketing analytics or data analysis in a digital environment.
Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing and automation.
Experience with marketing tools (CMS, campaign management platforms, email automation).
Expertise in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar).
Familiarity with marketing attribution models and Customer Data Platforms (CDPs).
Understanding of APIs and cross-platform data extraction methods.
Strong analytical thinking, communication, and storytelling skills.
Experience in B2B marketing or Account-Based Marketing (ABM).
Familiarity with customer journey mapping and funnel optimization.
Experience supporting enterprise-scale marketing environments.
