Cyber Threat Engineer

Candidate must be self-learner and should be able to work independently with minimal assistance and available online resources and should be flexible to learn new technologies and languages. This position requires working from the office full-time; remote work is not available.
 

Key Responsibilities:

Software development using microservices with the Python programming language and web frameworks like fast API, flask etc.
Participation in the design of features, evaluating impact of features on different system modules.
Being open to taking up technically challenging tasks without being sandboxed into any one technical domain. Strong ability and willingness to explore, learn and deliver
We Are Looking for:

• Exposure to the Python web frameworks like fast API, flask.
• 5 to 7 years relevant experience in Python
• Shell scripting programming experience on Linux

• Experience in using a wide variety of data structures/algorithms with the ability to choose the right one for the problem at hand

  
  
• Hands-on implementation experience with multithreaded systems
• Strong debugging skills on Linux
• Proven skills in designing software modules to meet feature requirements.
• Proficient in microservices architecture, Docker, Docker compose etc.
• Hands on experience with relational databases and non-relational databases.
• Proficient hands-on of NoSQL – MongoDB, OpenSearch
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Should be a good team player who can collaborate with the team.
• Exposure to cloud technologies and experience in handling applications on AWS
• Strong Computer and networking fundamentals
• In-depth knowledge of various security technologies.

Great to have

• Linux development environment and OS level debugging experience
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles.
• Exposure to Angular framework
• Knowledge of cyber threats, malware, APTs, exploits etc
• Experience in vulnerability assessment & penetration testing is plus.
• Certification of CEH, OSCP, and other cybersecurity is plus but not necessary

Desired Soft Skills:

• Must be interested to learn new technologies and skills.
• Candidates must be self-starters, quick learners, detail-oriented and should feel comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy, deadline-driven environment
• Ability to prepare and present research findings both written and orally.
• Good analytical skills
