The Automotive CAS role is a customer-facing technical position focused on enabling NXP’s advanced wireless technologies - BLE, UWB, NFC, WiFi. It bridges design-in support, system-level consulting, and ensuring successful deployment of Automotive IVI applications.
Job Responsibilities
Customer Application Support
Provide technical assistance to OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and partners for NXP Automotive Wireless Products
Pre- & Post-Sales Technical Engagement
Deliver technical presentations, demos, PoC evaluations, application notes, and training materials.
Development & Debug Support
Help customers during design-in and debug during development.
Escalation & Issue Management
Follow structured escalation procedures for unresolved technical issues, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
4-5 years of experience in Automotive wireless technologies - BLE, NFC, UWB, WiFi.
Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
Familiarity with automotive embedded systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
Knowledge of automotive functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262) is a plus.
