About the Role


Make an impact by advancing digital innovation as a Senior Scrum Master. In this role, you’ll empower cross-functional teams to deliver high-value solutions that align with our strategic goals.


You’ll facilitate Agile ceremonies, mentor teams, and optimize performance using tools like JIRA, Salesforce and Confluence. Your ability to streamline processes and bridge communication between technical and non-technical teams will ensure efficient delivery and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities


  • Support one or more Agile teams in delivering value through incremental development.
  • Facilitate key Agile ceremonies like daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Assist Product Owners with backlog refinement and story readiness.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to find techniques for effective Product Goal definition and Product Backlog. Ensure teams work on the most valuable Product Backlog Items.
  • Guide teams in time estimating practices such as Planning while facilitating team estimates and conversations around any differences that may crop up.
  • Help remove impediments preventing the team from achieving their sprint and PI goals and bring up issues as needed to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Leverage and interpret team metrics (like velocity and burndown) to provide data-driven visibility of team performance and organizational transparency to the status of deliverables.
  • Foster a collaborative environment of continuous improvement that enables teams to advance in new ways of working and build high-performing teams.
  • Work together with Product Owners, Product Managers, and partners to establish product vision, roadmap, and priorities, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Build a safe and trusting team environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or judgment, with an emphasis on problem-solving.
  • Help the team prepare for quarterly/PI Planning and guide the team during the event in completing all their activities.
  • Advocate for Agile guidelines within the organization, helping to build and refine our processes.

Education and Experience


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • Advanced Scrum Master certification (A-CSM) or equivalent, SAFe certification is desirable
  • Demonstrated experience as a Scrum Master with over 5 years in project coordination or Agile team assistance within a software development environment.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and CPQ preferred
