Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cost Controller to manage and optimize project costs for large-scale, multi-billion-dollar EPCIC offshore projects. The role involves end-to-end cost planning, monitoring, reporting, and control across all project


Key Responsibilities:


  • To plan, monitor, and control project cost for large-scale offshore EPCIC projects, ensuring alignment with budget, contractual frameworks, and client expectations across different project phases like engineering, project management, procurement, fabrication, logistics, installation, and commissioning.
  • Develop detailed project budgets aligned with EPCIC scope and establish a Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) integrated with WBS.
  • Provide input for bid stage costing, benchmarking, and detailed cost build?ups to support competitive proposals.
  • Track actual vs budgeted costs across engineering, project management, procurement (equipment, bulks, logistics), fabrication, loadout, transportation and Offshore installation
  • Prepare monthly cost reports, dashboards, and variance analyses; develop forecasts at completion (FAC/EAC) and identify cost risks.
  • Establish and track VoWD methodology (engineering progress %, procurement commitments vs. deliveries, fabrication milestones) and align with client billing and internal revenue recognition.
  • Evaluate variation orders and cost impacts; support claims, back charges, and negotiations.
  • Track cost implications of scope changes (e.g. additional scope, design changes).
  • Prepare and present Waterfall charts (Estimate → Actual → Forecast)
  • Interface with global Clients, Consortium Partners (OEMs), Internal Stakeholders
  • Understand EPCIC / EPCI / cost-plus/lump sum contractual requirements and ensure alignment with contractual terms 
  • Identify cost risks and savings opportunities and support cost optimization initiatives across packages

Job Requirements:


  • Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication, HVAC, high voltage electrical equipment, E&I bulks, mechanical packages, loadout, vessel transportation, offshore installation, commissioning, and handover.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, project management tools, and cost engineering software.
  • Proven ability to manage cost control and reporting for mega projects.
  • Willingness to travel to fabrication yards, project sites, and client and consortium partner overseas locations is essential.
