About The Job:

The Red HatGlobal Telco Servicesteam is looking for aConsultantto join us inPune/Bangalore/Chennai/Delhi-NCR, India. AsConsultant, you are a highly skilled professional whoshall be engaged in Red Hat Cloud (RH OCP, OSP, OSO, Custom Clouds based on RH OCP and OSP) based solution deliveryprojects,spanning the Red Hat Cloud portfolio as well 3rd party Cloud infrastructures. As aConsultantyouwillparticipateinCustomer’s Cloud/NFV/SDN delivery projects, with focus on OCP, OSP. NCP, NHRO, OSO components of Cloud portfolio, and leveraging your seniority to lead the creation and evolution ofHigh and Low LevelDesign, Test & Customer acceptance Design (Strategy, Test Cases), Red Hat and Customer lab integration & validation, delivery (install and commissioning in thefield) and customer field acceptance, to be used as reference by the rest of the delivery organization. You shall performsolution-basedinstall,configurationand acceptance of pre-architected solutions, either remote or on-site – to that end, some travel to customer sites will berequired. Hence your willingness to travel abroad for short trips. You shall also provide remote or on-site expert support for on-site solution engineers during installation, acceptance and diagnosis activities and take care of integration issue handling during deployment & upgrade. You will also ensure knowledge transfer and coaching of the rest of theConsultantscommunity.You willbe requiredto understand the culture and needs of the customers and internal teams in terms of technology and competencies. You need to be motivated and curious with a passion for contributing to the success of the business bycontributingina winning team. 

What Will You Do:

• Participation in customer’s projects activities related to Red Hat Cloud projects.

  
  
  

• Understand our customers product functional and technical requirements

  
  
  

• Understand how Red Hat products integrate into our customer’s environment.

  
  
  

• Understand customization requirements that the customer will need.

  
  
  

• Assistanceas consultant in customer’s presentations,documentationand workshops. 

  
  
  

• Participates in theHigh LevelDesign (HLD) approval cycle of the customer’s solution. 

  
  
  

• Responsible for Low Level Design (LLD), with detailed architecture and design of the Red Hat Solution.

  
  
  

• Responsible for following the design and process and accordingly implement the Cloud solution (Deployment/Upgrade/Configuration) in the customer environment. 

  
  
  

• Responsible for Test Design (Strategy, Test Cases and Reports)
  Producing Customer Documentation, e.g. MOPs, Integration & Configurationfiles.

  
  
  

• Execute the integrations as per requirements and verify the functionality as per the test strategy defined and casesfinalizedfor the verification. 

  
  
  

• Upgrade and tests customer specific software/hardware before it is implemented to the customer’s environment.

  
  
  

• Perform solution-based install,configurationand acceptance of pre-architected solution, either remote or on-site.

  
  
  

• Provide expert support for integration/Solution/Associate consultantengineers during installation, acceptance and diagnosisactivities, and handling integration Issue Handling duringdeployment.

  
  
  

• Develop enough knowledge on our customer’s environment toparticipatein customer discussion andfacilitateintegration recommendation. 

  
  
  

• Some travel to customer Sites to conduct troubleshooting, andassistwith the migration, particularly in Production Environments

  
  
  

• Manage customer technical requests and regularly update customer on progress. 

  
  
  

• Contribute to the creation of common artifacts and tools for usage by the Solution Engineering community and lead knowledge transfer and ramp up

  
  
  

• You ensure solution feasibility of the solution from technical, migration, integration,operationand maintenance perspective. 

  
  
  

• Youmaintainthe integrity & the consistency of the solution on its domain over the whole project cycle 

  
  
  

What Will Yo Bring:

• Expertisein OCP/OSP/OSO components of Red Hat cloud portfolio. Nokia NCP/NHRO would be added advantage

  
  
  

• Hands-on ExpertiseOpenstack& Kubernetes isa must

  
  
  

• Expertisein HEAT templates for application to be hosted on Cloud platforms. Ansible, Mistral concepts would beadvantageous.

  
  
  

• Expertisein NFVI/VIM, VNFM, NFVO and SDN technologies.

  
  
  

• Experience and background in infrastructure,systemand IT (Linux servers, Virtualization, containerization, External Storage Solutions

  
  
  

• Expertisein Containers,Kubernetesand Microservices concepts.

  
  
  

• OCP 280 (EX-280) training and Certification preferable.

  
  
  

• You have gained extended (practical) knowledge of L2 and L3 IP architectures and network models (MPLS, routers,), IP/MPLS access, aggregation & edge, IP/MPLS/DWDM converged core

  
  
  

• Previousdesign and deploymentexperience with at least 10+ years onbusiness experience in a customer service or technical support environment within a technology-oriented company or department

  
  
  

• Proven ability to learn and apply new skills and processes rapidly and coach, mentor, influence others around them

  
  
  

• Ability to adapt to changes quickly and be a change catalyst

  
  
  

• Demonstrated leadership experience with focus on improving associate and customer experience

  
  
  

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure

  
  
  

• Ability to work in process-driven environments as well as in contexts where consultation with colleagues, taking initiative, and making judgement calls is necessary
