Job Description
  •  Lead multidisciplinary site teams and contractors to deliver scope on time, on budget, and to required quality and safety standards.
  • Establish and enforce the project execution plan, governance structure, roles, RACI, and reporting cadence.
  • Drive decision-making, resolve conflicts, and ensure alignment with client objectives and contractual commitments.
  • Own the integrated baseline schedule and ensure logic-driven sequencing (Primavera P6/MS Project).
  • Track progress using KPIs and earned value, lead weekly look-ahead planning, and implement recovery plans when required.
  • Coordinate interfaces across civil, structural, architectural, MEP, utilities, and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee site setup, method statements, work permits, inspections, and quality hold points. Review shop drawings/IFC alignment, manage RFIs/technical queries, and lead constructability reviews.
  • Ensure safe execution, temporary works compliance, and effective logistics and site coordination.
  • Uphold zero-harm culture; implement HSE plans, JSA/Job Hazard Analysis, toolbox talks, and incident reporting.
  •  Lead quality control per ITPs, material approvals, inspections, and nonconformance closure.
  •  Champion continuous improvement and lessons learned across the project lifecycle.
  •  Serve as the primary on-site interface for the client, statutory bodies, utilities, and third parties.
  •  Facilitate progress meetings, steering committee updates, and executive dashboards.
  •  Maintain transparent communication with timely, accurate reporting and early warning notices.

Qualifications

• B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory).


• Minimum 20 years of construction management experience in complex infrastructure/building/industrial projects.


• 3–5 years of experience in a PMC/Owner’s Engineer environment.


• Proven track record of leading at least one major project as Project Head from mobilization to handover.


• Strong command of contracts (FIDIC/NEC or local standard forms), change management, and claims.


• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project; strong MS Excel and reporting skills.


• Demonstrated leadership of large contractor/subcontractor teams and multidisciplinary interfaces.


• Deep knowledge of HSE and QA/QC systems, statutory approvals, and compliance.



Additional Information

• PMP/PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification.


• Safety certifications (e.g., IOSH/OSHA or local equivalents).


• Experience with digital construction tools and common data environments (e.g., Aconex, BIM 360, or equivalent).


• Exposure to fast-track programs, brownfield interfaces, and live-operations environments.
