The Execution In-Charge is responsible for leading, supervising, and ensuring the timely execution of construction activities within an assigned section of a high-rise residential project. The role demands strong technical knowledge, effective coordination, and a commitment to quality, safety, and productivity standards.


Key Responsibilities


1. Section Execution & Supervision


  • Oversee and direct all construction activities within the assigned section of the project.
  • Ensure execution of work in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, method statements, and project schedules.
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and quality standards at all times.

2. Planning & Coordination


  • Coordinate and manage substructure, superstructure, and related works specific to high-rise residential construction.
  • Work closely with Planning Engineers to align section-wise schedules with the overall construction program.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors, site engineers, supervisors, and workforce to ensure smooth and uninterrupted execution.

3. Resource & Productivity Management


  • Plan and ensure timely availability of required manpower, materials, machinery, and tools.
  • Optimize resource utilization, monitor labor productivity, and ensure adherence to productivity benchmarks.
  • Identify, control, and minimize material wastage through effective monitoring and site discipline.

4. Monitoring & Reporting


  • Track daily site progress, workforce allocation, and equipment utilization.
  • Resolve on-site technical or execution-related issues promptly to avoid delays.
  • Prepare and submit daily/weekly progress reports as required.

5. Stakeholder Communication


  • Maintain professional communication with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
  • Provide clear updates on section progress, challenges, and mitigation plans.
  • Address client or customer concerns related to site execution in a proactive and courteous manner.

6. Experience & Technical Expertise


  • Must have relevant hands-on experience in the execution of high-rise residential building projects.
  • Strong understanding of structural, architectural, and MEP interfaces in high-rise construction.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and ensure accurate implementation at site.

Qualifications & Skills


  • Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 12+ years of site execution experience in high-rise residential projects.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in construction sequencing, quality standards, and safety practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple teams and coordinate cross-functional activities efficiently.
