Job description

As the world works and lives faster, FIS is leading the way. Our fintech solutions touch nearly every market, company and person on the planet. Our teams are inclusive and diverse. Our colleagues work together and celebrate together. If you want to advance the world of fintech, we’d like to ask you: Are you FIS?

About the Role

As a Compensation Analyst Senior, you will support compensation administration and analytics activities across the organization. You will work closely with HR partners and shared services teams to deliver insights related to incentives, bonuses and leadership compensation. This role provides hands‑on exposure to market benchmarking, job evaluation and compensation reporting in a global environment.

About the Team

You will be part of a collaborative Compensation Analyst team that supports enterprise compensation programs at FIS. The team partners with HR and business leaders to ensure fair, competitive and data‑driven compensation practices. Together, the team focuses on analytics, market insights and continuous improvement of compensation processes.

What You Will Be Doing

1. AI‑Enabled Process Optimization

  • Identify high‑volume, low‑value compensation processes (e.g., job reviews, promotion analysis, market pricing, FAQs) and redesign them using AI and automation
  • Partner with HR systems teams to embed AI‑assisted workflows into tools like Workday, dashboards, or intake models
  • Develop reusable AI prompts, decision aids, and self‑service tools for TPO/HRBPs/managers

2. Data & Insights (Storytelling First)

  • Translate complex compensation data into clear executive narratives (what’s happening, why it matters, what to do)
  • Build materials for PLT/CHRO audiences: one‑slide insights, decision memos, scenario views
  • Create manager‑ and employee‑appropriate interpretations of rewards data that reinforce fairness, transparency, and consistency

3. Compensation Support & Thought Partnership

  • Support core compensation activities (structures, promotions, incentives, pay equity) with strong analytical grounding
  • Partner with Compensation Leaders to pressure‑test recommendations using data, scenarios, and benchmarks
  • Help connect job architecture (e.g., outcomes, capabilities, stages) to pay decisions and business outcomes

4. Enablement & Adoption

  • Enable the Total Rewards team to work differently — fewer manual reviews, more product‑led solutions
  • Create guides, quick references, and training to help stakeholders adopt new tools and AI‑driven ways of working
  • Act as a translator between compensation SMEs, data/tech partners, and business leaders

What You Will Need

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in compensation, HR analytics or a related HR function.
  • Knowledge of compensation principles and employment practices.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience working with HR systems; Oracle Human Capital Management preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication and attention‑to‑detail skills.

Added Bonus If You Have

  • Experience supporting incentive or variable pay programs.
  • Exposure to salary surveys or market benchmarking tools.
  • Experience working in a global or shared services environment.

What We Offer You

At FIS, you can learn, grow and make an impact in your career. Our benefits include:

  • Flexible and creative work environment
  • Diverse and collaborative atmosphere
  • Professional and personal development resources
  • Opportunities to volunteer and support charities
  • Competitive salary and benefits
