Mission
The Commercialization Geophysicist is part of the Commercialization or Testing group which helps ensure a smooth transition of products from Research and Development (R&D) to mainstream production usage.
This goal is accomplished during all the software development cycle by working closely with the Engineering & Portfolio Teams. Executing test plans and reporting results for assigned software products is only one part of the Commercialization Geophysicist role.
Commercialization Geophysicist can have wide range of backgrounds ranging from Software Engineers to Petro‑Technical Experts (PTEs) as the job requires competencies in software engineering and software testing, as well as competencies in an any relevant domain (such as, Petrophysics, Geology, Geomechanics, Geophysics, Information Engineering, Production and Completion Engineering, Reservoir Engineering and Drilling and Well Engineering).
