WHAT YOU'LL DO


As Commercial Business Analyst, you are responsible for driving the strategic insight work and analysis of our merchandising through advanced data, customer and consumer insights in regard to our product. You will independently be able to set the scope and initiate analysis deepening on the need of the merchandising organization, demonstrate leadership, analytical prowess, and a deep understanding of industry trends.​


​You have a deep interest in retail analytics, inventory optimization and merchandising strategy development. You are customer and sales-driven professional with a strategic mindset. Key responsibilities​


  • Conduct in-depth analysis of sales trends, customer behaviors and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement; using statistical models and forecasting techniques to drive data driven decision-making.​


  • You stay abreast of industry trends, competitor product strategies, and emerging technologies to challenge current plans, maintain competitive advantage and support executional excellence by supporting with market intelligence in how to position, activate and optimize our offers.​


  • Analyze (and align with Customer Activation) SEO insights to support the SEO with our assortment strategy in close collaboration with merchandising managers / ecommerce leads as well as drive insights to support assortment strategy for all our channels; retail, digital and marketplaces.​


  • You drive projects and build business cases for new product categories, sales channels and other business opportunities to support new sales and profit growth.​


  • Follow up on our full (omni, retail and ecom) commercial initiatives and build strong case for improvement in our discount strategy, leveraging web analytics, customer insights, sales and cost data; enabling best possible commercial decision.

To be successful in the role as Commercial Business Analyst, you should have strong commercial focus and are insight and data driven, with proven ability to drive results and work towards goals. You should have a broad merchandising knowledge and commercial experience that understands the total picture from customer demands on our offers.​


​What you need to succeed:​


  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Economics or Business degree/relevant qualifications.​


  • Strong in driving commercial product excellence, strategic and analytical, with deep experience in business case building as well as follow up and estimate performance.​


  • Understanding of product, stocks and lifecycle management.​


  • High level of salesmanship and analytical proficiency; is an advance excel user.​


  • Effective collaborator with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.


  • Knowledge & experience in the Indian fashion retail.
