Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Infotainment HIL Validation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and validation, with strong knowledge of ETAS, dSPACE, Vector STUDIO, Matlab/Simulink, Scalexio HIL systems, and Vector Tools. The engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing HIL tests to validate complex automotive electronic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain HIL test setups using ETAS, dSPACE, Vector-STUDIO , Scalexio HIL (Configuration Desk, Control Desk, Automation Desk) and Vector tools.
- Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate the functionality and performance of embedded systems.
- Develop models and simulations using Matlab/Simulink to integrate with HIL setups for system validation.
- Perform system integration and troubleshooting to ensure HIL test equipment and configurations are functioning correctly.
- Conduct tests using Vector tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe , CANape tools to verify and validate communication protocols (CAN, Flexray, Ethernet ,LIN, etc.).
- Analyse test results, identify issues, and collaborate with development teams to resolve defects.
- Document test methodologies, test results, and provide detailed reports for stakeholders.
- Continuously improve test processes and methodologies to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
Skills Required:
- Proven experience in HIL infotainment validation and testing with strong knowledge of ETAS, dSPACE systems, Vector-STUDIO (Configuration Desk, Control Desk, Automation Desk).
- Proficiency in using Matlab/Simulink for model-based design and simulation.
- Experience in C#, Python, perl, VB.net
- Experience with Scalexio HIL systems and the integration of real-time simulations.
- Competency in using Vector Tools with CAN tools like CANoe, CANalyzer or CANape , INCA TPT, Tessy tools, silver experience for MiL/SiL testing
- Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Flexray, Ethernet, etc.) and embedded systems validation.
Experience 3 Years to 5.5 Years
Industry Preferred Qualifications B.E or B.Tech / M.E or M.Tech
