We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineering Manager to lead and grow a team of Cloud Administrators, Site Reliability Engineers (SREs), and DevOps professionals across AWS and Azure environments. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires deep technical expertise in multi-cloud infrastructure, strong people management skills, and the ability to drive operational excellence at scale.


Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & People Management
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of AWS/Azure Cloud Administrators and SREs, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, career development planning, and hiring/onboarding for the team
  • Define team goals, KPIs, and OKRs aligned with organizational objectives
  • Build a high-performing team through recruiting, coaching, and retention strategies
Cloud Infrastructure & Operations
  • Oversee the design, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure environments
  • Drive cloud architecture decisions, ensuring best practices for security, scalability, cost optimization, and high availability
  • Establish and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates, or Bicep
  • Manage cloud cost governance, FinOps practices, and resource optimization across accounts/subscriptions
Site Reliability Engineering
  • Champion SRE practices including SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, error budgets, and incident management
  • Develop and improve monitoring, alerting, and observability strategies using tools like CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Datadog, Prometheus/Grafana, or similar
  • Lead incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and post-mortem processes
  • Drive automation of toil reduction and reliability improvements across services
DevOps & Automation
  • Oversee CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI)
  • Promote GitOps, configuration management, and container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS/EKS, AKS)
  • Drive adoption of automation across provisioning, deployment, and operational workflows
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Development, Security, Product, and Platform teams to ensure infrastructure meets business and application requirements
  • Collaborate with InfoSec to implement cloud security best practices (IAM, networking, compliance, vulnerability management)
  • Communicate infrastructure strategy, risks, and progress to senior leadership
Required Qualifications
  • 12+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE roles, with 6+ years in a management/leadership capacity
  • Deep hands-on expertise with both AWS and Azure (multi-cloud environments)
  • Strong understanding of core cloud services:
    • AWS: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, EKS, CloudFormation, Route 53, etc.
    • Azure: Virtual Machines, AKS, Azure AD, App Services, Azure Functions, VNets, ARM/Bicep, etc.
  • Proven experience managing SRE or Cloud Ops teams, including on-call rotations, incident management, and reliability engineering
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform strongly preferred)
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Strong understanding of networking (DNS, load balancing, CDN, VPN, firewalls) in cloud contexts
  • Experience with monitoring and observability platforms
  • Experience with FinOps and cloud cost management tools (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, CloudHealth)
  • roficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (Python, Go, Bash, PowerShell)
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
  • QA Automation experience — familiarity with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Robot Framework) and the ability to guide or oversee QA automation efforts, integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, and support infrastructure testing practices (e.g., Terratest, InSpec, Checkov)
  • Cloud certifications such as:
    • AWS Solutions Architect Professional / DevOps Engineer Professional
    • Azure Solutions Architect Expert / DevOps Engineer Expert
    • Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
    • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
