Position Overview:


We are seeking a career‑oriented professional with a global mindset to join the Mumbai‑based Client Account Servicing (CAS) team. This role supports senior members of the Global Client Service, Account Management, and Relationship Management teams within MSIM Sales & Marketing division, with responsibilities spanning multiple stages of the client lifecycle.


The position requires close collaboration with global stakeholders across Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations, Sales, Investment Teams, etc. The ideal candidate will possess strong documentation skills, a solid understanding of Investment Management business, and the ability to operate independently and effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage IMA amendments for existing clients and oversee all related documentation, with a strong focus on accurately capturing and maintaining MSIM obligations.
  • Implement and manage contract amendments, including updates to investment guidelines, fee schedules, benchmarks etc.
  • Collaborate with Global Client Services, Sales, and Relationship Management teams across regions to support client‑servicing requirements.
  • Process amendment instructions and ensure timely updates across firm systems and documentation repositories.
  • Provide query‑resolution support to regional teams, ensuring accuracy and responsiveness.
  • Support process enhancement initiatives by identifying efficiency opportunities and contributing to workflow improvements.
  • Coordinate KYC activities, initiate fee‑setup processes, and oversee reporting‑related requirements.
  • Capture and maintain contractual obligations from IMAs and support the management of Restricted Lists.
  • Respond to client queries involving compliance attestations, audit confirmations, and regulatory documentation.
  • Coordinate Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), Service Review meetings, and ad hoc due‑diligence requests with internal stakeholders.

Key Skills & Requirements:


  • Strong knowledge of the investment management industry, including investment vehicles, operational processes, and regulatory considerations.
  • Bachelor’s degree; a documentation, legal, or paralegal background is an advantage.
  • Experience working with Investment Management Agreements (IMAs) or similar contractual documentation.
  • Excellent project and time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize and work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving ability.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across global teams and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and documentation or workflow management systems.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to navigate evolving responsibilities and business priorities.
