Job Summary:
The Classical Dance Teacher is responsible for teaching and promoting Indian classical dance forms while developing students’ rhythm, expression, and stage confidence. The role involves training students, preparing them for performances, and encouraging appreciation for classical arts.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach classical dance to students through structured lessons and practice sessions.
Train students in basic techniques, expressions, and performance skills.
Plan choreography for school events, performances, and cultural programs.
Encourage creativity, discipline, and appreciation for classical dance.
Support students in developing confidence and stage presence.
Participate in school events, competitions, and cultural activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Classical Dance or Performing Arts.
Experience:
2–5 years of experience in teaching or performing classical dance.
Key Skills:
Strong knowledge of Indian classical dance forms.
Ability to train and motivate students.
Good communication and classroom management skills.
Creativity in choreography and performance preparation.
