Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

· Understand project requirements as per program milestones. (Any OEM Product development Gateway System)

· Support project delivery related to engineering and design from kick off to implementation, including; QFD, benchmarking, feature analysis, engineering, drawing and model preparation & release, CAE and physical validation support, development & implementation support)

· CAD support for engineering proposals preparation in consultation with internal external (Supplier) experts.

· Release of drawings and models with system engineer.

· Preparation of Bill of material with variants.

· Check and validate to regulatory requirements on Design surface

· Support to CDMM and other implementation team for part development and quality initiatives.

· Understands all the feasibility concerns of suppliers and conducts technical discussion with suppliers to resolve concerns.

Experience
2 to 4 years of relevant experience in Trims
Industry Preferred
Qualifications

Graduate in Mechanical / Tool Engineering.

General Requirements

· Exposure to global requirements for Exterior trim engineering & design (Bumpers, spoiler, Plenum applique, cladding, under body covers etc...)

· Expertise on plastic component design and knowledge and understanding of tooling.

· Understanding of commonly used plastic grades/families and its applications in automotive Exterior -system

· In-depth knowledge of all the system specific Catia V5 CAD modules to create effective 3D model and/ or 2D drawings for a complex part/ sub-assembly in a time efficient manner while considering advanced features of surface and/ or solid modeling.
