Join Barclays as CCO Assurance Analyst, where you’ll provide first class support to our clients by managing and providing the full range of control services to the Finance Function to support risk management across the Controls environment. To be successful in this role, you should have below skills:
Fresh Qualified Chartered accountant with Articleship experience in a reputed firm / MBA Finance.
Understanding of Comprehensive Capital Adequacy and Review (CCAR) /SOx and Risk Management practices including but not limited to Internal Audit. Ability to communicate internal control concepts clearly, in a business context.
Ability to interpret, analyse and derive logical conclusions on data patterns.
Verbal and written communication skills to deal with internal and external stakeholders. Keeps stakeholders (including Auditors) up-to-date with the progress of the audit work, observation status.
Proficient in use of MS Office packages (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power-point).
Basic knowledge of internal control and regulatory requirements & practice e.g. Sarbanes-Oxley, COSO.
Basic awareness of the specific current requirements of the US GAAP / IFRS/IAS regimes.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
