Role Summary:
The Content Associate-JP plays a critical role in ensuring an exceptional customer experience on FireTV devices by managing and validating digital content within the FireTV catalog. This role demands a high bar for quality, a passion for accuracy, and the ability to work effectively with Japanese-language content and stakeholders.
Functional Activities:
Content Validation & Quality Assurance: Verify the accuracy of catalog errors, identify and remove duplicate entries, and classify errors in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to continuously improve Machine Learning (ML) models.
Operational Excellence: Adhere to SOPs with a consistently high level of attention to detail, ensuring content quality meets the bar expected by our customers.
Judgment & Escalation: Exercise sound judgment to identify patterns, highlight observations, and surface insights about daily operations, tools, and processes to supervisors. Proactively call out risks and opportunities for improvement.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process and tool enhancements by providing actionable feedback grounded in day-to-day operational experience.
Language Requirements
Japanese (JP) — Required:
Reading: Must be able to read and validate content titles and metadata displayed in Japanese within the FireTV interface with high accuracy.
Speaking: Must have strong verbal proficiency in Japanese to perform voice-based content searches on FireTV devices and to communicate effectively with JP stakeholders.
English — Required:
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English for internal documentation, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key job responsibilities
Content Management: Maintain and update the digital content catalog to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Data Entry & Reporting: Input and manage metadata for various content types, ensuring consistency and adherence to standards. Keep a track on all the activities performed for the day.
Collaboration: Work within team and take ownership in various activities. Actively participate in calibration, team hurdles and share suggestions.
Problem identification: Give attention to the daily process and share the challenges with supervisors for improvement.

- Must be a graduate in any stream
- Should have JP language certification
- Working knowledge of MS Office

- Highly passionate about Digital content specially Movies/Shows/Series.
- Active user of OTT platforms.
- Familiarity with global movies/TV shows sources like IMDb.
