We partner closely with Client Services, Sales, and Product Engineering to ensure that digital campaigns are flawlessly executed, monitored, and optimized. About the Role


As a Campaign Operations Analyst, you will support our client service teams within the Yahoo Consumer organization to enhance performance across our ad campaigns. You'll manage campaigns, troubleshoot setup issues, and provide the analytics that keep execution on track. It's a great entry-level fit for a detail-oriented, analytical thinker who wants to learn ad operations and put AI tools to work.


Key Responsibilities


  • Campaign Setup & QA: Provide creative support for campaign setups, conduct rigorous quality assurance checks, and manage third-party tags using system checklists to ensure accurate delivery.


  • AI-Augmented Troubleshooting: Diagnose campaign and reporting discrepancies on internal platforms, utilizing approved tools like Atlassian Rovo and Claude Cowork to parse technical tickets and draft execution resolution steps rapidly.


  • Asset Coordination: Coordinate ad specifications with clients, gather creative assets, and provide campaign delivery confirmation to account leads.


  • Reporting & Optimization: Compile customized client performance reports; leverage Claude/GAM/Looker connectors to query data more efficiently, summarize reporting trends, and uncover basic campaign anomalies.


  • Workflow Optimization: Create AI prompt workflows and automation scripts to handle repetitive reporting tasks and share what works with the broader team.


  • Feature Requests: Track and surface tool vulnerabilities or platform feature requests to optimize our transaction framework.


  • Revenue Protection: Identify and escalate delivery gaps or technical campaign issues to protect existing revenue streams and meet KPI goals.


Basic Qualifications


  • Education: Bachelor level degree (marketing, advertising, business, computer applications, or related field).


  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in ad operations, campaign management, or digital marketing (relevant internships, coursework, or project experience will be considered).


  • AI Mindset: Curious about putting AI to work; using LLM-based tools and automated workflow assistants to increase efficiency and produce sharper, cleaner reporting.


  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite; familiarity with web analytics, programmatic media, media planning and optimization is a plus.


  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on articulating data-driven findings.


  • Problem Solving: Proactive in spotting errors, utilizing available analytical resources, and escalating issues responsibly when encountering technical roadblocks.


  • Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to collaborate constructively across teams with a client-first service mentality.
