Role Context
The role sits within the FP&A Centre of Excellence (CoE) and focuses on supporting, maintaining, and enhancing the British Council’s Anaplan-based FP&A solution. As an Anaplan Business Modeller, the role involves model maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, user support, and continuous improvement to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning. The position works closely with finance teams, Anaplan partners, Digital & Technology, and global stakeholders to deliver an agile, finance-led planning solution and strengthen in-house capability.
Main Responsibilities
The role supports the development and ongoing enhancement of Anaplan models, dashboards, reporting structures, and integrations with systems such as SAP. Responsibilities include testing, issue resolution, documentation, user support, training, and ensuring the platform remains aligned with business needs. The role also contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, process design, and capability building across FP&A, while developing expertise in Anaplan, financial planning, Excel, Power BI, and enterprise systems.
