Job Summary:
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) for Umo Mobility, you’ll play a critical role in identifying sale opportunities, creatingqualified pipeline, and helping grow the Umo Mobility business globally. This is a quota-carrying role that assists our team in delivering sales.
The role of the BDR is to thoughtfully research, executecustomer outreach, and use a variety of digital tools to work efficiently and effectively in a complex, government sales environment. The role will often be the potential customer’s first exposure to UmoMobilility, so communication skills that can be leveraged across many countries, especially European and North and South American locations, is a must.
Working with the Sales Manager and Sales Operations, generate pipeline of qualified opportunities through lead generation activities
Generate qualified meetings through strategic, personalized outbound and inbound follow-up
Research institutions and stakeholders to understand priorities, constraints, and decision dynamics
Operate in a metrics-driven environment, with regular review of activity, conversion, and pipeline performance
Continuously test, learn, and refine outreach approaches based on results
Represent Umo Mobilityin marketing activities including virtual or in person settings where appropriate
Experience We’re Looking For
1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related role
Ability to working toward measurable goals and tracking progress
Experience using Sales systems and modern productivity tools
Interest in leveraging AI and automation to work smarter and faster
College degree preferably in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline
Nice to have, not required:
Direct experience working at or with public transportation entities
Familiarity with sales systems (Salesforce, Hubspot)
Ability to speak multiple languages, especially for European or Latin and South American Countries
