Job Overview

Role Summary
Seeking an experienced Business Analyst to define requirements, enhance processes, and support technology initiatives that span across Finance technology. The role involves building of business knowledge by understanding the various systems and processes in the organization, and by exploring and analyzing their associated data.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Analysis: Gather, analyze, and document business, functional and data demand requirements (BRD, FRD, User Stories). Translate business needs into clear system specifications and acceptance criteria. Create test plans, test cases, and support System Testing and UAT. Track and resolve issues using tools likeJIRA, Confluence, and collaborate with technology teams.
• Business Knowledge: Develop business context and knowledge. Become a subject matter expert in the different systems, processes and associated data models in the organization.
• Data Exploration:Understand existing data & reporting across multiple platforms scattered across the organization. Gather information by connecting with people across business teams and technology.
• Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth data analysis of business data. A hands-on approach is essential, demanding proficiency in a range of tools and technologies to extract, transform, and analyze data effectively.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their specific needs and translate those needs into effective analytical solutions. Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders timely manner. Present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Governance & Compliance:Safeguarding the integrity and quality of data underpinning analytical initiatives, promoting a data-driven culture across the landscape. Establish and maintain appropriate governance processes to ensure compliance with requirements and internal standards.

Qualifications

• 10 years + of Business Analysis experience in Finance, preferably with Controllers, Treasury, or FP&A..
• Proficiency in Data Analysis with an understanding of Data Models and strong SQL skills..
• Experience with BA tools:JIRA, Confluence, Visio, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), process mapping, and documentation.
• Strong communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
