Job Summary


The Food & Beverage Executive is responsible for the efficient management of cafeteria, pantry, and catering operations while also supporting key workplace services such as mail room operations, courier handling, and stationery management. This role ensures seamless day-to-day service delivery, high standards of food quality and hygiene, cost control, and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The incumbent acts as a key interface between internal stakeholders, clients, and vendors to deliver a superior workplace experience aligned with organizational and client expectations.


Key Responsibilities


1. Food & Beverage Operations


  • Oversee daily cafeteria and pantry operations to ensure uninterrupted service.


  • Ensure timely and high-quality service delivery for meals, snacks, and beverages.


  • Monitor food quality, taste, hygiene, and presentation as per agreed standards.


  • Coordinate with kitchen teams, chefs, and on-site staff for smooth operations.


  • Address operational issues promptly to avoid service disruptions.


2. Client & Stakeholder Management


  • Act as the primary point of contact for all F&B and related workplace services.


  • Interact regularly with clients, employees, and internal stakeholders.


  • Collect feedback, analyze service gaps, and implement improvement actions.


  • Ensure consistently high levels of customer satisfaction.


3. Vendor Management


  • Manage catering, housekeeping, pantry, and supply vendors.


  • Track vendor performance against defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).


  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of food, supplies, and services.


  • Escalate and resolve vendor-related issues efficiently.


4. Hygiene & Compliance


  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards (FSSAI / HACCP).


  • Conduct regular hygiene, safety, and operational audits.


  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of cafeteria, pantry, and dining areas.


  • Support audit requirements and corrective action closures.


5. Inventory & Cost Control


  • Monitor food consumption patterns and minimize wastage.


  • Maintain optimal stock levels for pantry items and F&B consumables.


  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of food materials.


  • Track costs and support cost optimization initiatives.


6. Event & Catering Management


  • Plan and execute food services for meetings, training sessions, and corporate events.


  • Coordinate menu planning, logistics, and vendor arrangements.


  • Ensure service quality, hygiene, and presentation during events.


  • Manage last-minute requirements and on-site coordination.


7. Workplace Services Support


  • Oversee mail room operations including inbound and outbound mail handling.


  • Manage courier operations and ensure adherence to turnaround time (TAT).


  • Maintain records of stationery inventory and usage.


  • Ensure availability and controlled distribution of office stationery.


8. Reporting & Documentation


  • Maintain accurate records for F&B consumption, courier logs, and stationery usage.


  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.


  • Ensure documentation readiness for audits, compliance checks, and reviews.


  • Share MIS and performance reports with management and clients.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)


  • Customer satisfaction scores


  • Hygiene and audit compliance ratings


  • Courier handling efficiency and TAT adherence


  • Stationery cost control and usage tracking


  • Vendor performance and SLA adherence


Qualifications & Skills


Education:


  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or related field (preferred).


Experience:


  • 2–3 years of experience in Food & Beverage, Facilities Management, or Workplace Services.


Key Skills:


  • Strong knowledge of F&B operations and hygiene standards


  • Vendor and stakeholder management skills


  • Cost control and inventory management


  • Good communication and coordination abilities


  • Basic reporting and documentation skills
