Roles and Responsibility
Bench Validation & Automation Engineer
• 3 to 6 years of experience in Post Silicon Bench Validationa and Characterization
• Develop Test Plans: Create comprehensive test plans for Bench characterization that outline the procedures, tools, and conditions required to validate semiconductor devices.
• Design Test Fixtures: Design and develop test fixtures & Hardware. Well verse with software and equipment to facilitate accurate and efficient testing.
• Scripting: Expertise in python framework.
• Test Automation: Develop and implement automated test scripts to streamline the testing process and improve efficiency.
• Conduct Bench Tests: Perform detailed bench testing of semiconductor devices, including functional, performance and reliability tests.
• Characterization: Characterize devices under PVT conditions to assess performance metrics such as power consumption, speed, and thermal characteristics.
• Debugging: Identify and troubleshoot issues encountered during testing, working closely with design and process engineers to resolve problems.
• Data Collection & result Analyse: Analyse test data to evaluate device performance against design specifications and industry standards.
• Generate Reports: Prepare detailed test reports, documenting findings, anomalies and recommendations for improvements.
Collaboration and Communication
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, process and product engineering teams to provide feedback and support design improvements.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support to manufacturing and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless production and quality control.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers to understand their testing requirements and provide technical assistance as needed.
Continuous Improvement
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for improving test processes, methodologies and equipment to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest developments in semiconductor testing technologies and methodologies.
Compliance and Safety
• Adherence to Standards: Ensure all testing activities comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Safety Procedures: Implement and follow safety procedures to protect personnel and equipment during testing.
